Though younger graduates leave Bluefield State to pursue careers in nursing, engineering or business management, being a Bluefield State alumnus remains a lifetime appointment—with opportunities for involvement that can last for decades.
The Office of Alumni Affairs is the liaison between the university and its graduates, assuring that alumni experiences are positive expressions of the past, present and ongoing mission of Bluefield State. To this end, the office works with alumni groups to help organize meetings, reunions, and social activities.

Our office is located in the Hatter Hall of the Bluefield campus. Alumni are always welcome and are encouraged to visit whenever they are in the area.
